But their father, a poor farmer, Rameshbhai Nandwana, 34, is so desperate for medical help for them, fearing they could die and now planning to sell his kidney to be able to meet up with medical bills.
Love: Anisha, 3, hugs her father Rameshbhai Nandwana, 34, along with Harsh, 18-month-old, who also suffers the same syndrome.
“A few social workers have come forward to help but it’s not just about the food. If my kids continue to grow at this rapid rate they will have major health issues. We’re terrified they will die. I am ready to sell my kidneys if the money can help in their treatment,” he said.
Their uncontrollable hunger keeps their mother Pragna Ben, 30, in the kitchen the whole day. Sadly, the toddlers are also unable to walk by themselves.
Crippling: Despite his paltry income, Rameshbhai spends approximately Rs 10,000 (£110) a month on food for his children.
